Discovery Point Sauvignon blanc

A very welcome departure from the grassy, over-the-top and tutti fruity Sauvignon Blanc that pretty much describes most of the commercial examples widely available. Discovery Point is pretty much aligned with the great Sauvignon Blanc of the Loire Valley in France i.e. Pouilly Fume and Sancerre. This is a Sauvignon Blanc which is low cropped, no fining and given extra lees contact, the result is elegance, beautiful texture, dry with concentration and depth, in essence what great Sauvignon Blanc should be.
